2019 REGATTA EVENTS
This year will see Coronation Park turned into an even bigger and better Regatta Arena with our daytime family friendly zone and bouncy castle fun, back on Thursday and Friday. Just £5 per child for the whole day. On Saturday 31 August we are delighted to announce a special services day. Come and meet our local police, fire and rescue heroes, plus some special guests, and find out what, how and why they do what they do. Also, the Dartmouth Golf Course team of pros will be set up ready for you to take the swing and have a go at putting a winner!
The Regatta Sundowner will be on Wednesday 28 August with the Break
Beat Bandits playing early doors with Brazilian samba rhythms to get the party going from 6 to 7pm. Fol- lowed by Dr Oz, who are one of the region’s most exciting and in-demand live acts and this summer they’ve been headlining at festivals right across the South West. Mixing soul, funk & ska from the past 5 decades with an energetic stage show, the band prom- ise that every show is different. You will dance, you will sing and YOU WILL SHAKE YOUR THING! Then we are delighted to say that Tankus the Henge – the full line up - will be playing Dartmouth! Tankus is a cult British band known for their wild showmanship
and musical dexterity. Their funk fuelled repertoire is wildly eclectic ranging from New Orleans inspired swing to heavy rock riffs and since their beginning in the alleyways of London’s Soho, the band have evolved into a wild groove machine. Expect a high octane live show like a psychedelic, rock ‘n roll octopus, only with 4 more legs. The party will also see our local talented duo DJ Billy Baker and Jamessax wowing you with their dance bonanza. This will truly be a Sundowner to remember! Buy your ticket and take the ride….
