THE TRAILER GUY People who are re-doing their houses or

have to move out of their current home before their new residence is ready are just two of the types of customers who would benefit from contacting Paul Auten, owner of Te Trailer Guy.

“Our trailers are mobile, like pods,” Paul

explains. “We drop them off, they load them and take them to the next house, or we store it for them until they need it. Mainly the trailers are used by people who are moving or redoing their houses or businesses that are moving. Tere’s a hundred different things. We also help with moving.” According to his website at

www.tgmstorage.com, Te Trailer Guy is a reliable partner for moving services, including packing and storage. It offers 170 on-site fixed storage units, and 60 mobile storage containers available for rental. Trailers range in size from 15,000 to 16,000 square feet, with the largest being 24 feet in length. “Most of the time we are pretty busy,” he says.

“Last year it got busy in February and didn’t stop until December when it finally slowed up. I probably had 10 to 12 calls a day.” Paul, who grew up in Plano but now lives in

Yorkville, says his Sandwich company, located at 158 Gletty Rd., is kind of a family thing. His father, Dick Auten, started the business and Paul got involved around 2001. He now employs two full-time people and says he is working on making the storage site even bigger and better. He also in 2019 became a premier member of the Yorkville Area Chamber of Commerce.

“I’ve been in the Yorkville Chamber 12 years,” Paul

says. “I am in a Leads group. It was the first thing I did when I joined the Chamber was to join a Leads group. It’s been really good for me. A small referral is really good.” To reach Paul Auten at the Trailer Guy call 815-

786-6757.
