Jennifer Scott poses wilh her limo at Riverfront Park in Yorkville. Jennifer Scott, owner of Jen’s Limo Service Plus,

loves to drive. For her, she says, driving means the freedom to go where you want to go when you want to go. So when the Yorkville resident didn’t receive an

expected promotion at Septran a year and a half ago, she says starting a limo service was a logical step for her. “When I’m driving, it doesn’t feel like a job,” Jen

explains. “I feel more like I’m taking friends to the airport or somewhere they want to go. It’s fun. I enjoy it.” Jen has her commercial drivers license with

passenger endorsement, and her partner Nicole Strohl and other drivers who drive when Jen is double or triple booked all are school bus drivers. “I think that makes us safer than your average taxi or ride share company,” Jen says. “I think we definitely are a

lot safer than any of the competition.” Jen says she tries her best to go above and beyond

for whatever the customer wants her to do. “If they want to stop on the way home from the

airport to get food because they don’t have food in their fridge, I do it and I don’t charge extra for that. It’s part of the service.”

Although driving back and forth from airports

makes up the majority of her work, Jen says she also takes people to concerts, weddings, sporting events and even has done some quinceaneras, the coming of age parties for girls turning 15. “I want people to know that I’m here, in the

Yorkville area, and that I am available,” she says. Call Jen at 630-701-4310.
