‘We always give our horses a bath the day before a show. When horses are being washed as oſten as ours, we need to be careful to avoid them getting scurfy. ‘If possible, try to plait the morning of a show to ensure nothing comes loose overnight. We don’t travel our horses with hay as it prevents any messy scenarios, with stray bits flying around. Once you arrive at the venue, give yourself enough time to work in properly and get both you and your horse ready. Rushing is good for nobody, so keep calm and collected.’
