FROM THE EDITOR
WELCOME TO THE MAY/JUNE ISSUE
This month we are bursting at the seams with lots of informative articles, including the legendary Yvonne Goss and her wonderful ex-racer ‘Jaffa.’ Keeping Yvonne company, we have
interviews with the talented Ginny Howe (page 66) along with the straight talking Bruce Langley McKim of Thorpeley Stud (page 28). Following on from our last issue, we
welcome international showjumper Joe Stockdale as he starts his regular CHN journal (page 60) . Away from the ‘now’, we travel back in time with our ‘Characters Remembered’ feature (page 58) where our regular contributor, Charley Snowdon delves back into the fascinating archives of the 1952 Olympic gold medallist Duggie Stewart; aſter all, ‘We only know where we are going if we now where we have been….’ The show ground is the place to be at the time of going to press and this issue aims to aid our readers with the very best turn tips from legendary ‘Queens of the Ring’, Katie Jerram-Hunnable and Jayne Ross! The long nights are here, and as the sun makes another promising gesture, I tell myself it’s time to brush off my riding hat, put on my brave pants and hop onto something a bit more fun than the office ijoy ride...(Watch this space!)
Until next time, Heather
