Let’s go back to where World Missionary Evangelism’s outreach was born…with Child Sponsorship. Our work began in the 1950’s when Dr. John E. Douglas, Sr. responded in faith to a challenge to care for six orphaned children in India. These six had been discarded and left to survive without anyone to rely on.


And 60 years later, it is the love and support fervently shown by WME Sponsors that has helped change the lives of countless children. Your sponsorship


makes a real impact on children in great need. When you move in faith to show Christ- like compassion and care for these suffering youths, you help us to step into the gap and set a godly course for their futures.


We have identified many children who need someone to provide them with hope. Hope for a safe place to rest their heads. Hope for daily meals to fill their stomachs! Hope that someone cares about them and their future! Hope for an education that opens up new possibilities ahead. Hope in a Savior who loved them so much He laid down His life for them! When hope becomes reality through Christian outreach and giving, we firmly believe the children you sponsor can transform their families, their communities, and eventually their nations.
