21 Where Needed Most
As you would expect, World Missionary Evangelism budgets for regular expenses such as caring for children and supporting Native Missionaries. But WME is often faced with the unexpected. Thus, we must respond to some needs immediately, before we even have the opportunity to put together a newsletter or email explaining what is happening and asking you for help. That is when we must fall back on our reserves.
So, it’s not surprising, WME calls our reserve fund “WHERE NEEDED MOST.” And of course, WME uses those reserves Where Needed Most. This fund is critical for WME’s month-to-month operations and gives us the needed agility to move forward on critical projects or in urgent situations. The “WHERE NEEDED MOST” fund has made it possible to reach untold numbers of orphaned or abandoned children as well as the homeless, displaced, sick, destitute, dying, lost, and hopeless of all ages.
WME relies on gifts from supporters and partners who love God deeply and want to spread the Good News. We work together for the Kingdom to extend God’s mercy through Christian compassion to the people and places where the needs are great and help is needed most. This is who we are and reflects the hearts of our donors.
In recognition of 60 years of continuous ministry started by Dr. John Douglas Sr., to help orphaned children and spread the Gospel, we invite you to join with WME to celebrate what God has done and what He is going to do. Please help WME mark 60 years of Christian faith in action by pledging to send a one-time gift of $60 or giving $60 per month to the “WHERE NEEDED MOST” fund. Also, you can always support this ministry by getting involved in any of the areas described in this magazine.
