Agricultural Missons
We can provide a hungry child or an adult with a hot meal TODAY, but what about feeding them TOMORROW? Is there a long-term solution that can aid families and communities in their struggle against hunger?
During our many years of community mission work, World Missionary Evangelism has found one very effective solution for ending hunger is by supplying farm animals and seed for crops. Agricultural gifts provide food for the hungry, teach valuable skills, and promote self-sufficiency.
Through a small investment, farm animals and livestock can sustain an entire family by providing eggs, milk, cheese, meat, and other nutritious products. And after taking what they need, a family can sell extra food products and animal offspring at a local market.
A gift for seeds can provide enough for a modest farm or a good crop that potentially can feed a growing family or small community. Crops can also provide enough income for other necessities. Even some of our WME Children’s Homes plant gardens to provide a reliable food source for their children. But as you can see, it all begins with bags of seed.
The cost to become involved in this mission is not large, but the potential impact is huge. A bag of seed is $25, a flock of chickens is just $100, a pair of milk goats is $100, a milk cow or buffalo is $300. Please support this mighty mission TODAY and bring a long-term solution to ending hunger to countless lives TOMORROW.
