Art History Afternoons with Linda Loveland Reid

Sebastopol, CA. ~ Novelist, poet and playwright Ger- trude Stein and her brothers were avid art collectors. As she modestly comments, without her patronage some of the artists and writers that she promoted might not have emerged as they did to eventually take over the art world. With her life partner Alice B. Toklas, their famous Paris Salon hosted the likes of Picasso and Matisse, artists whose works were thought to be wildly odd. 1:30 to 3:30pm
