Spring brings new life in the forest giving us so much to discover! Each class we will head outside for a short hike to see what new and wonderful changes our environment has to show us and then we will head back inside to create a piece of art to share. Dress for being outside and getting messy.

Drop your kids off at Red Oak for an evening of activities, dinner and a movie while you enjoy some adult time. Participants will be served a pizza dinner, play games or go on a hike and then settle in for a movie and popcorn! All are welcome to bring their favorite blanket or stuffed animal to enjoy the movie. Participants may be picked up at any time during the program.

Come celebrate your love for Planet Earth during our birthday party! We’ll start off by cleaning up our local habitats by participating in a trash sweep challenge, then we’ll play some traditional party games, sing Happy Birthday and enjoy a sweet treat to cap it all off! All participants 2 years and up MUST be registered and accompanied by an adult.

Merit Badge Workshop Ages 14+

All Boy Scouts are invited to come to our workshop where scouts will work on two badges, Environmental Science and the Forestry. Scouts will complete most, if not all, of the requirements. Homework will be emailed to all registrants so that research and projects can be done ahead of time and can get signed off as completed on the same day. Scouts are required to bring a sack lunch and blue cards to be signed by the merit badge counselor. Dress for being outside.
