Mirror man looks to successful future
A family run business, which counts a famous English singer and a reality show judge among its clientele, is looking forward to a gleaming future after securing a £30,000 loan from local lender Finance for Enterprise. Launched in 2005, Dinnington-based JS
Mirrors has established itself as one of the UK’s largest mirror specialists in the UK, growing from a small eBay shop to providing a diverse range of mirrors, chandeliers and home furnishings which are sold online. Despite enjoying a growing order book,
Stuart recognised the importance of upgrading the company’s technology infrastructure to improve the way orders are managed as well as investing in its customer service offering. Unable to secure help from high street lenders he turned to the alternative funding provider for help. Since working with Finance For
Enterprise, Stuart’s business has received orders from hotels, salons and restaurants across the world and even helped style- conscious celebrities footballers and actors; counting Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel-Horwood and Liam Gallagher among its growing client base. Joanna Morgan, Co-Director, JS Mirrors,
said: “Like many businesses, we had a proven business model and good trading history, so it was a surprise when we were told us that we weren’t eligible for lending. “The support we have received from
Finance For Enterprise has proved to be invaluable. As a result we have been able to create new jobs within the business as well as invest in new technology to prepare our business for further growth.”

An updated brand for Sutton McGrath Hartley
South Yorkshire and Derbyshire-based Chartered Accountants, Sutton McGrath Hartley, have completed a group wide rebrand, resulting in a state-of-the-art website to compliment a new corporate look for the firm. Led by Managing Partner, James Hartley,
the rebrand brings together a new group of companies under the SMH umbrella, that advise on a complete range of financial advisory services for all business, personal and family interests. The focal point of the

James said: “There have been significant changes within SMH over the past 12 months. Under my new role as Managing Partner we are focused on achieving high levels of growth by offering additional services not available from our competitors, in addition to being on the acquisition trail. “With the recent acquisition of BullockWoodburn Chartered Accountants in Buxton we are now expanding into new regions, and our new services, such as capital allowances and commercial finance, further expand our main offering of accountancy, independent financial advice and wills and probate.

complete rebrand to develop the SMH brand in line with our long-term plans. This culminates with a new website, which is the new focal point of the group. “The website is our information centre, where our clients and visitors can find out about any aspect of financial advice they might require for their business, their family or their own individual circumstances. Our aim is to ensure no financial stone is left unturned. “As part of the development
process we built the website with the user in mind. We want to make it as easy as possible for our website users to find the
information they are searching for, and
to introduce the personality of SMH by having the main point of contact for each service area available at the click of a button. “We’re very proud with what we have
achieved with the rebrand and are looking forward to developing this further into 2019 and beyond. “One of our main objectives is to break into
the top 100 accountancy firms in the UK and our rebrand has got us off to a great start in aiming to achieve this.”
