Now REACH Homes are ready to add to that proud legacy with our answer to the national housing crisis threatening so many people with poor standard accommodation, high fuel bills and a future with no hope of a decent home of their own.
As a social enterprise, and one of the only non-profit private housebuilders in the country, REACH Homes aims to build up to 600 affordable housing units per year from a new production facility right here in the City Region. These homes will be of the highest quality and standard of energy efficiency possible, built using 60% recycled materials and offering jobs and training for local people. What we don’t offer is a high price for our homes. Our mission is ‘the most house for the least cost’, with beautiful designs on landscaped sites
blending with the landscape, powered by renewable energy and packed with cutting-edge tech. This is a new approach to housing – and we know it will be in massive demand. Our developments will be based around co-design, involving people in the design of the places they live even in the most affordable end of the market.
