Implementing your programme When implemented correctly, a training and development programme has the ability to vastly improve your company culture. Here are my top tips on implementing an effective training and development programme to benefit your company’s culture: • Involve managers: Ask line managers to schedule regular one-to-one mentoring sessions with their employees. This allows them to really get to know the individuals in their team by setting career goals, coaching their team, providing feedback and building trust.


• Set objectives: Introduce a formal development plan for each employee to set SMART objectives. The
