SHORTLIST FOR TUNBRIDGE WELLS


The Pantiles, Chapel Place and High Street area in Royal Tunbridge Wells has been shortlisted in the Champion category of the Great British High Street Awards 2018, putting them in the running to win a £15,000 prize when the winners are announced in a glittering ceremony in London on 15th November. The Champion category celebrates and showcases the best high


streets across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and after a rigorous selection process, The Pantiles, Chapel Place and the High Street was chosen by an independent judging panel as one of 26 streets to be shortlisted for the award. The shortlisted high streets battled it out in a public vote, which accounts for 30% of the fi nal scoring. High Streets Minister, Jake Berry MP, said: “Congratulations


to The Pantiles, Chapel Place and High Street in Royal Tunbridge Wells on being shortlisted as one of the UK’s best high streets in this year’s Great British High Street Awards. “The awards celebrate the great work that is being done to

High tech investment for


KENT PRODUCTION COMPANY Tunbridge Wells-based video production company, Digitom, has been awarded a capital grant to support an investment of £15,000, enabling the agency to deliver cinematic quality fi lms using the latest technology. Digitom received the 50% match-funded capital


grant from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) via KEEP+, which is helping small and medium-sized enterprises to innovate and develop new products and services. The grant has enabled Digitom to invest in the latest high tech equipment to deliver 4K RAW fi lming and editing. Digitom’s Founder and Creative Director Tom Chown
