“My first Tabby Show. I was blown away by the venue itself, and then by the performance. No photos, I just wanted to take it all in with- out worrying about getting a good shot or video. Stood there in amazement all night. Will become our Thanksgiving tradition from now on.”

- Jay Wrenn, Alabama

“You might appreciate this story. My BBS travel Buddy, Tilla Strickland and I, could not make the Tabby this year as in years past. It was killin' us both. She lives in Texas, I live in Louisiana. So many Brothers & Sisters wanted us to be there so bad that one of our BBS Sisters, Diane Brandies made this awe- some “Fan Fan” to take with her so we could at least be there, in some sense. That's how the BBS Brothers & Sisters roll.... we've al- ways got each other's backs in any situation. Hell, we're just hopin' the “Fan Fan” made the video, but either way, at least we were there in Spirit.

of Blackberry Smoke. For me, a few of the highlights were “Space Captain,” along with the addition of Benji Shanks and the new per- cussionist Preston Holcombe and background singers the Black Bettys. Also, Charlie talking about how happy he was to be back home and hearing the fans singing every word of the songs back to him. I know for me it takes a lot to keep from singing along, but I know the people around me didn’t pay to hear me sing. They want to hear Charlie. But believe me, I’m singing every word on the inside. Like I have said many times before, these songs mean a lot to me and I can identify with them. It was one of the best shows of the year. I look forward to the release of the DVD. Look for updates and a full review in KUDZOO when it is released.
