mighty Bellamy Brothers bring in the Holi- days with “Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.” There are more great Christmas tunes from Liddy Clark, Hannah Kerr, and Rodney Atkins and our friend Charlie Daniels wraps the entire set up with truth and class, reading the Christmas story from the book of Luke in the Holy Bible. Perfect. My Christmas Collection by Ana

Cristina Cash was produced by John Carter Cash and recorded at Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee. The album fea- tures everything from a captivating bilingual track, “Silent Night (Noche de Paz)” that showcases Cash’s rich voice, outstanding har- monies and Hispanic American heritage to a heart-warming duet, “Baby It’s Cold Outside,” with John Carter Cash. Ana also puts her own sultry spin on “Santa Baby,” and “Breath of Heaven (Mary’s Song)” is absolutely beauti- ful. “Santa Claus Is Real” is a fun original song co-written by Ana and her husband, John Carter Cash. “Carol of the Bells/God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” finds Ana multi- tracking her voice into a virtual choir, laying down 200 vocal tracks. Wow. She delivers an excellent version of the Nat King Cole “Christ- mas Song” and the classic Bing Crosby hit “White Christmas.” Ana Cristina Cash was raised in Miami,

Florida. Cash, of Cuban descent, is bi-lingual and began a professional career in music at the tender age of six. She was the first His- panic American to perform the “Star Span- gled Banner” for a presidential inauguration for President Bush in 2005. In 2016, Cash married music producer, John Carter Cash, and has since been writing and recording the music she was born to sing. Cash’s music per- fectly blends her connection with rockabilly and gritty blues, adding in a flavor of country and soul to create her own distinctive sound. For my money, this is one of the finest

Christmas albums from a female singer since Amy Grant. And the musicianship is as good as it gets.

I highly recommend that on your next

visit to Cracker Barrel for Uncle Hershal’s Fa- vorite Breakfast, you pick up either one, or better yet, both of these instant Christmas classics.

Anthology Volume 3- Live Garth Brooks (Pearl)

I will always main-

tain that Garth Brooks is one of the finest overall en- tertainers on the planet. His appeal is obvious in the

country music world, but he is also loved by rock and roll fans the world over. A country boy from Oklahoma, Garth was and is gifted with a great voice, songwriting chops and a love for theatrical rock shows like Queen and KISS. The first time I saw him onstage, dur- ing the 1991 Alabama June Jam in Ft. Payne, Alabama, he grabbed the audience by the short hairs and never let up, climbing the out- door scaffolding, swinging on a rope like Tarzan on a vine, with smoke and pyro effects filling the stage. It was as if Elvis, George Strait and Gene Simmons had raised him from an orphan. This is Garth Brooks LIVE, complete

with a huge book detailing his first on-stage appearance in college up to headlining his own record breaking tours and worldwide stardom. There are behind the scene stories and interviews with band and crew. As for music, there are five CDs, yielding 52 live recordings, including Triple Live, the sound- track of his record breaking world tour. There are over 100 behind-the-scenes and perform- ance photos, along with 10 augmented reality experiences that come to life through the Garth Live app. The Anthology Part III, LIVE is part
