“On Black Friday, my stepson, Tyler and I flew from Oklahoma City to Atlanta to at- tend our first Blackberry Smoke homecoming show at the Tabernacle. I had been wanting to go for years, not only for the music, but be- cause it was a chance to see our extended family, the BBS Brothers and Sisters. This family comes together from all over the world. I don’t think a lot of people under- stand how good music has brought so many good people together. If I wasn’t part of it, I probably wouldn’t understand either. On Thursday night, Thanksgiving

Night, a lot of people come early and share a meal together and it gives everyone a chance to visit, reconnect, or meet new people who you’ve met through Facebook but never actu- ally gotten to meet. The day of the concert, everyone “tailgates” in the parking lot of the Tabby ‘til it’s time to line up for the show. Once those doors open, it’s all about

the music of Blackberry Smoke. I can’t even tell you how talented these guys are as a band, but they are equally amazing on an in- dividual basis. To say we love them is putting it mildly. They have an old school feel that takes me back to simpler times. The music is great, but the lyrics of Charlie Starr are the things that grab my soul - it’s what keeps me coming back, time after time. The words make me laugh, cry, and take me to a place where I’m free- I wish I could find better words to describe it. You know if it makes a girl leave her husband and family home on Thanksgiving, and fly across the country just for the music and extended family, they’ve got to be great!”

“The tabby experience is really fun. You leave early to hang out with friends you never would have met if it wasn’t for the awesome band Blackberry Smoke. So many hugs and great conversations. You get to meet and talk with the guys in the band. And after you hang

out with friends all day you end the day with fantastic music. If you’ve never been, it’s a must do. This was my fourth tabby show and it was just as awesome as the first one.”

“The 2018 Holiday Homecoming show was my fourth Tabernacle show and my favorite show of the year. Even though the weather wasn't great, we still had an awesome time before the concert at the Tabby pre-party in the parking lot. The Tabernacle is an awe- some venue and the acoustics are amazing. BBS was fantastic as always and Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown were the perfect choice for the opening band. I have been following Blackberry Smoke since 2012 and I've met so many good people who I'm proud to call friends, Brothers and Sisters. The attached picture is a prime example of the fun we have when we get together (I'm the one with the peace sign ). You couldn't ask for a better group of fans! I feel blessed to be a part of the BBS Family! Looking forward to 2019 and more concerts, and will definitely be at the Tabernacle show, wouldn't miss it!”
