Corfe Mullen Youth Club News Wow December already. Where did that year go!
It has been a busy year and I feel that it’s time to refl ect on how much the members, staff, parents and the community benefi t from having a safe place for young people to meet and enjoy social activities, sometimes making mistakes but learning from them and growing into responsible teenagers in the community. We are never afraid to challenge inappropriate behaviours and actions.
On December 10th at 7.30pm we will be holding an information evening for anyone who is interested in taking part in The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. We can offer all three levels Bronze, Silver & Gold, with experienced, qualifi ed staff and competitive rates. Please contact me for further details.
Our programme is running well and we have enjoyed dancing, quizzes and various choices of games. An updated programme is available on Corfe Mullen Parish Council’s website:
www.corfemullen-pc.gov.uk where there is a link to the Community Youth Club.
Parents/guardians of Year 7 and 8 students are encouraged to email for membership enrolment forms.
Louise has moved on and we would like to thank her for her input. We are currently advertising for a part-time Youth Support Worker for three hours on Friday evenings (term time only), please contact me or Linda for details.
Continued appeal: If any builders/DIYers have any 50mm insulation or whole sheets of 12mm square edged plasterboard or timber spare, please contact me as we are lining out and fi tting shelves to our store shed. I can collect locally.
