The judges were Joel Blake, founder and managing director of CultiV8 Solutions, Qasim Majid, president of the ABCC, Anita Bhalla, chair of performances Birmingham at Town Hall and Symphony Hall and Suzanne Virdee, presenter and journalist at ITV news.

Outstanding Business Woman of the Year Sponsored by Aston University


Baljit Kaur - Innate Consultancy Baljit is an equality, diversity and inclusion specialist who delivers training to organisations looking to bolster their diversity.


Dee Kundi – VWV Dee is a commercial litigation partner who has been instrumental at VWV in developing their online portal and debt recovery department. Outside of law, Dee is an active volunteer and non- executive director of TAG Midlands Network Group.


Rosie Ginday - Miss Macaroon Rosie is the founder of social enterprise Miss Macaroon, a pastry manufacturer who specialises in French macaroons. The firm has trained 45 unemployed young people.

Chinese Community Centre – Birmingham (CCC-B) The long-established community centre has diversity and inclusion ‘at the heart’ of its business. The firm initiated the China West Midlands 2020 project that aims to connect people from diverse communities.
