Abbeyfield very own Ironman Head Teacher

Mr Tucker during his preparation for his Ironman needed to include in his training the “External Factors”. These factors include the terrain, weather conditions, and course conditions.

The day started with the swimming section and after a great swim for Mr Tucker, he left the water with a good position. Onto the bike section a slight set back, Mr Tucker had to adapt his race after a setback on the bike section! After months of training Mr Tucker’s bike decided to choose race day to have the cogs not function properly, this meaning a passerby had to give Mr Tucker 2 cable ties to hold the cogs into position to allow Mr Tucker back into racing mode and onto the run section! A long hard run and positions gained back.

A fantastic hard day for our very own Iron Man Mr Tucker, who is looking forward to his next big event.
