They change their set lists every night, like the Dead used to do, in consideration of the Brothers and Sisters who attend multiple shows and love the surprises. Blackberry Smoke are the reigning kings of Southern Rock, but they are so much more. The boys have fans in the hard core country circles (they did, after all, duet with George Jones), the hard rock crowd, the classic rock fans, the Dead Heads, the Allman Brothers fan base, and the Skynyrd crowd. They are an amazing band. Like Gov’t Mule before them, they have a knack for doing the unexpected onstage.
