Eight is the magic number for Duncan & Toplis accountants

Champagne corks have been popping across Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire as five accountants at Duncan & Toplis secured the qualifications required to become chartered recently, while another three have passed other important qualifications. The qualifications that the eight

accountants have achieved will set them on course for rewarding careers in accountancy with one of the largest practices in the East Midlands. Jessica Beeston and Lina

Norkute, based at the company’s Lincoln office, have completed their ACA courses to become members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, along with Loughborough-based Will Shing, Anna-Marie Caswell at the Louth

office, and Charlotte Hackney, who is based in Newark. Also at Duncan & Toplis’ Newark

branch, Tara Walker has passed her Chartered Institute of Taxation CTA qualifications, while Eick Armes and Gemma Anthony at the company’s Lincoln office have passed exams that are required for accreditation with the Association of Accounting Technicians. Duncan & Toplis Managing

Director Adrian Reynolds said: “This is a real cause for celebration. It’s always a great day when one of our accountants earns a qualification, and today we get to celebrate eight of them achieving some of the most important qualifications in our industry. “These are all major achievements

and they’ve worked extremely hard to get to where they are now. They should be very proud.”
