Fun In The Phoenix Sun For UK Spa Dealers
A large group of top selling American Whirlpool and Vita Spa dealers visited the factory in Phoenix, Arizona, recently. The 2018 seminar was held at the Hilton Hotel Chandler in between visits to the pool. The trip also included a very informative tour of the factory along with brand specific updates and plans for 2018. The group was also able to view some exciting new models that are arriving in the UK very soon.
“This wasn’t just work, work, work,” said Aqua Warehouse Group
(AWG) Managing Director, Richard Hart. “We as a group like to enjoy ourselves so we scheduled plenty of fun during our visit.” The group travelled to the nearby Goldfield Field Ghost Town where everyone participated in various activities such as zip wires, gold-panning and a gold mine tour to mention a few. Then after
plenty of refreshments in the ‘saloon’ the group ventures out in real John Wayne cowboy country on a superb Jeep safari in the cacti- filled desert.
The four day visit was rounded off with a wonderful Awards Dinner where the CEO of Maax Spas Corp John Johnson was on hand to give out the awards to all deserved recipients. The evening was a double celebration as both Richard Hart, AWG and Carolyn Hall of Superior Hot Tubs were celebrating their birthdays and this group need no excuse for some cake and a party! “Sadly this fantastic visit had to come to an end but none of us wanted to leave the desert and land back in the freezing snow, like we did and I know some had very hazardous onward journeys,” said Graham Message of AWG.

Hydropool opted for a James Bond themed casino night and party to celebrate the 2017 success of retailers at its European Awards Ceremony for its Hydropool and La-Z- Boy dealers. The black tie event was held at the Bracknell Hilton and combined the Hydropool European Dealer Conference that coincided with the official launch of two news models, the self- cleaning 790 and 970.
“Hydropool believes in our retailers and we appreciate their
efforts, creativity and hard work in making their businesses successful and resilient in the long term,” said Dave Jackson, Hydropool President.
