Co-winners of the UK Pool & Spa Awards’ Holiday Park Pool Of The Year, Splashaway Bay has undergone a £4million transformation over the last two years, culminating in the completion of a new £1million changing village.
Operated by Haven, part of the Bourne Leisure group, the refurbished swimming pool complex, Splashaway Bay, now the largest pool complex in North Wales, hosts a brand new fresh design alongside an array of exciting family friendly water features. The overhaul of the water leisure venue was overseen by the ‘imagineering’ team from Leisure Concepts -- a team that prides itself on its multi-disciplined design and delivery approach. The pool was redeveloped to include a new toddler pool, multi- lane swimming pool and food outlet. The wave pool, rapids, main pool slides and flumes were all refurbished, as well as introducing additional fun filled water features.
These include an exhilarating new flume slide, exciting wave machine, a fully fitted out children’s pool with fun features such as tipping buckets and new water slides together with a lane pool for committed swimmers. With a bather capacity of 500, there are

parachuting penguins, 3 x 100m flumes, a four lane racing slide and a dedicated toddler’s area with water features and slide.
TV PROMOTION
Extensively featured in the new Haven TV advertising, the pool serves as an all-weather venue where families of all ages and abilities can feel safe. A 42-strong staff team including management, lifeguards, cleaners and pool attendants look after the award-winning venue. Pool side seating and viewing allows the whole family to enjoy their time at the pool.
Splashaway Bay is open to guests of Hafan y MÃr’s 500 acre holiday park as well as day visitors. People travel from England and Wales just for the day to swim and enjoy the thrills and excitement of the refurbished pool.
