have just completed our 2018 State Conference. I would like to thank Marie Malara and her com- mittee for all of their hard work making this important profes- sional development opportunity possible. Please be on the lookout soon for an announcement re- garding session proposals for the 2019 Conference! Also recently completed was the All-State Band and Treble Choir concerts. There are an army of volunteers who help make the All-State experi- ence successful but I’d like to spe- cifically thank our performance chairs, Adam Warshafsky (Band) and Wayne Mallette (Choir) for their leadership of their respective procedures committees, as well as Joe Cantaffa for helping to orga- nize the team that made the event run smoothly.

The committee will con- tinue its work though the spring and early summer with the goal of having the new strategic plan ap- proved for the 18-19 school year. We will be communicating about this process through TEMPO magazine, the website and email. If you have any questions along the way, or would like more in- formation, please do not hesitate to reach out.
