The Northeast Florida Fair celebrated 70 years in October

The theme of the Fair was "Rides, Ribbons, & Rodeos!" The
crowds came out for 11 days of fun. The entertainment, free with the cost of admission, was a suc-
cess each day of the fair. The entertainment included Nick's Kid Show, Big Engine, Band on the Run, Jimmie Coleman, Tricky Dogs Show and a performance by an Elvis impersonator. The local high school bands were also a highlight of the Fair. Sun- shine Monkey Shines strolled the grounds daily. The Mud Swag Truck Show was held the first weekend of

show with a variety of rides for the whole family. The Home Arts Building was
beautifully decorated and full of exhibits. The exhibits included handi-
