Chocolate coated Flapjacks You will need;-
300g Butter. 180g Golden Syrup 200g Light soft brown Sugar 400g Porridge oats 1 bar chocolate
Method
Preheat oven to 180˚c (160˚c fan assisted, gas mark 4. Line a 30x20cm tray with tin foil and grease with butter.
Warm the butter, syrup and sugar in a large saucepan. Stir regularly until melted together.
Add the melted mixture to the oats in a large bowl and stir until all the oats are well covered.
Pour into your baking tray making sure it’s even and spread to the corners and bake for about 20 minutes until lightly golden
(it might look as if it’s not quite cooked) Leave to cool.
