Broadstone Neighbourhood Forum Update Keep our green spaces?

The statutory consultation on Broadstone’s Neighbourhood Plan has three weeks left to run. Midnight on 22nd December is the deadline for the return of the questionnaire.

If you have not yet looked at the plan or submitted any comments, we would urge you to do so before it is too late. The independent examiner will take your views into consideration when assessing the plan’s conformity with both Government policy and Poole Council’s Local plan.

It is not possible to stop the Government’s drive for more and more housing, and there is an identifi ed need for more appropriate housing in Broadstone, but it is possible to manage development to minimise the impact on both our natural and built environments. This is what the Plan’s policies set out to do. We would therefore urge you to support Broadstone’s Neighbourhood Plan and respond to Poole Borough Council’s survey accordingly.

See the poster (right) for details of where information about the plan and survey can be accessed.
