Broadstone First School, Age 4-9
As a school in the heart of Broadstone, it is a true privilege to be so involved in all the wonderful community events that are being arranged at this time of year.
The Broadstone Fireworks was a fabulous, family evening that was arranged by the parents and friends of the two Broadstone
Schools. It was wonderful to see children from many different schools coming together to have fun on the side stalls and eat vast qualities of sugary products, whilst
enjoying the beautiful display. Thank you to all involved. The event will return for a third year next year and will continue to get bigger and better!
Our Year 4 children are busy getting ready for the Broadstone Christmas Parade on 2nd December – I am looking forward to cheering them on and hoping for good weather!
Our own school Christmas Fayre will be held on Friday 1st December at 3.30pm
(with a special visitor!). We would like to welcome you all to attend; especially if you have young children, as it is a lovely way of introducing them to the school.
Our traditional Carol Service is open to all in St John’s Church in Broadstone at 6pm on Tuesday 12th December. There is nothing like seeing the children act out the story of the First Christmas to get into the seasonal spirit! Again, all warmly welcome.
