Broadstone Youth Club
Since last month, Broadstone Youth Club has been really busy. We marked Halloween with our infamous Scare Walk, apple bobbing and pumpkin carving.
Volunteers and young people alike enjoyed a session of Prize Bingo, we raised money for Children in Need and have spent much of the last month working on our exciting entry for the Broadstone Christmas Parade.
Can you spare two hours a week (term time) to help us deliver more activities, or could you help behind the scenes? We need volunteers to support on Wednesday evenings, and help us start a session on Tuesdays, but we cannot do it with the current team – they need some time to spend with their own families! We are also looking for three new members of our management committee – which helps our centre run efficiently and ensures we have the structures in place to keep running in the long term. The time commitment for this is probably only 2-3 hours per month, with one evening meeting each half term.
If you fancy a chat about either role, please do get in touch. In the meantime, Merry Christmas and thank you!
