by: Zak Zaikine • Editors: Karin O’Keefe-Sack and Melanee Reynolds onade with our Hades dweller.

Our so called Hades dweller, after conversing with this so- called despicable creature, they can bring back very good infor- mation to the surface which can not only enlighten the barer/ carrier but that of the multi- tudes living above as well.

So again we have a message here and a great metaphor for creature to human. Delve deep when its

Sebastopol, CA. ~ It is really amazing where this year has gone...two plus months away from the holidays and the turn to 2018. My, my, my. As we travel past the intense part of Libra and plan for Scor- pio, our fixed water sign and the only astrological sign to have three glyphs connected with it.

until they begin their miraculously delightful show in earliest spring. Explore and visit local nurseries and farmer’s markets with their own selec- tions, each bulb, a potential flower and ultimate ‘wonderful- ness’. Email Savita Wilder, savita@pf- pros.com for a world of bulbs locally and at Farmer’s Markets too. It’s also time to plant your fall veg- gies from starts you

have grown yourself or the vast selection out and about nurseries in town. Time to get garlic and onion sets planted for long rows of deliciousness. Drought tolerant natives, xeriscape selections can be ordered and/or purchased locally now to add to your dry gardens but

Dearest Scorpios, you can and may experience all three glyphs in a moments notice. But by be- ing aware of these dramatic el- evator rides one can mellow the aspects and use each three dif- ferences effectively to its full advantage. Thus we have the intensity of the Scorpio nature, rather in their consistent stay- ing power, their gaze or their ability to go and dwell in the dark and feel comfortable to drink a nice cold glass of lem-

making it through. Now you get to enjoy all your hard work this year and kick back a bit. Curl up with a good book dur- ing these last Indian summer days. Try not to worry about your work or job, your creativi- ty is going strong. The universe for the first time in a long, long time has you covered. And the upcoming holidays with your family, friends and your tribe might just be the best yet. But oh yes, get that something special for yourself that you long for. Namaste all you beautiful Librans.

great French chef, Jacques Pepin, alsoloves to paint still lifes of veg- gies, fruits and flowers. What a talented man! Locally, if you and all your Halloween troupe are hungry and want some genuine family fun, call ahead to save a bunch of tables for your party at Julie and Riccardo Cattaneo’s “Trattoria Cattaneo -A Touch of Italy.” Teir Trattoria is at 2700 Yulupa Ave #10 in Santa Rosa. 707-542-9050. Mama mia—it’s the real deal!

From a genuine “Antipasto” plat- ter to such classic Italian cuisine as Chicken Marsala with mushrooms, or homemade gnocchi with choices of sauce, to Pappardelle al Cinghia- le, accompanied by excellent Chi- anti, or full bar choices, you will feel transported to Italy. And, no doubt, you will be hugged by the man him- self, from Sicily, who proudly, and righteously, praises his chef de cui- sine, his wife. Maybe that’s a new way for you to wrap up another Halloween celebration. Tere are people who are mak-

ing their way from Santa Rosa to go help in the rescue efforts and recon- struction that will long be on-going in all the hard hit areas of our coun- try. Nothing could be more honor- able and upbeat! We praise them all and thank them for representing those of us who cannot join them to help. Contributions are needed.

Happy Halloween—and don’t eat too many candy hearts! ~Ellie

a longtime favorite, Moonlight Brewing in Santa Rosa is on that list also. On my short list are Plow Brewing, Fogbelt, Crooked Goat, and Woodfour Brewing. The list keeps growing and I’m always open to suggestions of your favorites.

This is a great annual event, held in the picturesque setting of old town Petaluma. With the fes- tival being held in mid-Septem- ber, it almost always guarantees a warm summer day. With the fes- tival only a short walk from the Petaluma Train station, it is sure to draw more attendance from San Rafael and the northern parts of Sonoma County.

I can’t think of a “Smart”-er way to get there! “Respect other people’s feelings. It might mean nothing to you, but it could mean everything to them.” ~― Roy T. Bennett UPBEAT TIMES, INC. • October 2017 • 31
