Sonoma County, CA. ~ Please join Bill and Dave Hikes Sat- urday, October 21, as we hike on the Johnson Ridge Trail at Hood Mountain Regional Park. Please meet us at 9:45 AM for a prompt 10 AM departure. Our plans are to hike from just north of Highway 12 up to the Hood Mountain Trail, cross over to the Hood Mountain summit, enjoy Gun- sight Rock for lunch and return. This is a very strenuous hike of 11 miles with an elevation gain of 2400 feet, and will last approx- imately six hours. Wear lay- ered clothing and sturdy hiking shoes. Also bring a lunch with plenty of liquids and remember we hike rain or shine. DRIV- ING DIRECTIONS: Turn north off of Highway 12 at Pythian Road. Angle left onto Rancho Los Guilicos Road and then park at the fi rst parking lot on the right.
