Whitstable. It’s a product with a difference: the handmade natural deodorant focuses on encouraging all of us to check our breasts. Launched in September 2016 – it has already won its fi rst beauty award from Green Parent Magazine – Love Your Pits is 100% natural and handmade in Whitstable.

The deodorant was created from Caroline’s passion for working with cancer patients as a holistic therapist after she realised that many cancer patients were looking to cut back on their overuse of daily chemicals, trying not to overload their already toxic systems dealing with the effects of radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

year to develop with many different trials across a wide selection of people including men, women

The deodorant starts with a maceration of calendula fl owers in coconut oil for their soothing and nourishing properties and a variety of natural clays are added to absorb the moisture and deodorise. Quality essential oils are then added for their benefi ts. In its development Caroline
realised the need to encourage us all to check our breasts – men included – and developed the idea further into a starter kit with the deodorant, which includes a brochure from Breast Cancer Care with details on how and what to look for.

Bella breezes
