The White House at the entrance, offers beach goods including wet suits, crabbing gear and many gifts. Up the walkway, the fi rst huts sell American goodies for youngsters, quality scarves, bags and clothes, retro and quirky household gifts. Next, comes our master goldsmith who fashions exquisitely- crafted gold and silver jewellery. Then, browse among wickerwork, ceramics, fl owers, nautical Breton wear, costume jewellery, T-shirts, tops and bargain casual wear. Continuing onto the platform, you will fi nd stunning handmade children’s clothes, pirate paraphernalia, gothic jewellery, toys, gifts, candy fl oss and sweets.
Eating on the Pier…
The food court is bound to tempt your palate with a choice of international flavours: authentic Thai dishes, Californian gourmet burgers,
Italian pizzas, seafood and scrumptious fish and chips. For dessert, taste our ice-cream sundae,
cakes, cream teas and ice cream. Thirsty? Try Goody’s ales and ciders or healthy fresh fruit smoothies in Little Pep where you can also buy 100% fresh and healthy snacks and vegan food. There are plenty of seating areas on the pier.
Children’s activities… Youngsters will have a high old time on the helter-skelter, traditional carousel, bunji trampolines, bouncy castle and boating pool.
In the pipeline… The Pier Trust likes to surprise its visitors. So, it is delighted to announce three coming major developments • a wedding venue for a registrar with complete packages - wedding, reception, music.
• a fully equipped stage ready for the BayFest in August
• plaques for people to commemorate a special occasion.
