Orange Fox Eventing crowned Neue Schule’s next top jockey!

Revolutionary bitting experts, Neue Schule, launched a fantastic social media based competition giving equestrian enthusiasts the opportunity to win a year’s sponsorship contract. The competition was open to riders or drivers from all disciplines, at all levels amateur or professional, and all ages. The initial stage invited equestrians to post a picture of themselves and their horse on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter, and caption the image in less than 100 words. 15 finalists where then chosen from hundreds of entries and asked to complete a detailed application form. After very careful consideration, the Neue Schule team is delighted to award a 1 year sponsorship package to Caroline Mosley (Orange Fox Eventing) and welcomes Caroline to the NS Sponsorship Team! Caroline demonstrated wonderful social media skills, commendable insight into Neue Schule products and research and is keen to promote horse welfare. Caroline is the lucky recipient of a great selection of Neue Schule products, unlimited access to expert bitting advice, online courses via ‘The Academy’ and some great media exposure!

“Neue Schule is proud to have a fantastic team of sponsored riders and ambassadors, from Olympic eventers, to grass- roots dressage riders, right through to movie star stunt riders” said Heather Hyde - Company Founder. “The Next Top Jockey competition was a great opportunity for someone who shares our ethos to join our team and get some extra support to help achieve their goals, no matter how big or small those might be”.

Whether you are competing at novice level or are about to go international the competition is open to everyone. Said Katy Mickle of TopSpec: “Our sponsorship programme provides support for some of the top riders competing internationally as well as pony, junior and young riders that are the up and coming names of the future. This latest search is open to everyone and is our way of helping one special rider with nutritional advice, training and entry fee support as well as feed, rider and horse clothing and equipment.”

Yeah, we did it!

Grub’s Boots recently supported Meirion Owen, a well-respected sheepdog handler, judge and event organiser in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for ‘The Most People Throwing Wellington Boots Simultaneously’. And after long deliberation and final checks with marshals, the record was broken and a new world record was made. The original record stood at 431, but the people of South Wales who participated in the attempt smashed this and it now stands at a whopping 636. Said Meirion: “I was ecstatic

to receive the news that we had broken the Guinness World Record. What an achievement! It was an enjoyable day and I want to thank everybody who came to the fair and participated in the attempt. This record would not have been achieved if we hadn’t had all that support. Continued Meirion: “Also a big thanks to Grub’s for their generous donation of 250 pairs of Grub’s boots, otherwise it would have been quite difficult to get hold of enough wellingtons for the day.”
