Our tester, Susan Chappelhow-Lacey, says: Great black/white zebra print pattern all over mask which itself has nice soft fleece around the seams. Very easy to fit and stays securely in place. Even when horse rubs, the material bounces back away from the eyes. Great protection for your horse from flies and even helps with sun protection. The funky zebra design supposedly helps confuse flies, encouraging them to stay away from your pony in the first instance and I did notice an absence! The mask is hard wearing, well made and a very reasonable price. All in all a great product.

Our tester, Terri Graham, says: Masta rugs have a reputation for design, fit functionality, and durability, so I was very pleased to be sent one of their fly rugs. It has an integral neck cover, which is very generous in depth and length and waterproof over the top. The neck seam is set up well forward which helps relieve the pressure over the withers, while the neck fastens with two broad sturdy Velcro straps. The main body of the rug is also waterproof to mid line with the lower half a mesh preventing biting insects getting through. It is not as deep as some rugs but adequate with two cross surcingles and double chest buckles with a Velcro strip closure. The tail flap bucks the recent trend of massive tail flaps that always end up covered in poo! But it does the job of protecting the tail head equally well. It was a fair fit, a little tight on the point of the shoulders darts and the gusset could have been more generous. But super easy to put on and remove and kept the horse dry in the rain without overheating and effectively kept flies etc. at bay. The rug is priced competitively so a good buy. Oh, and it washed well and dried quickly on the line.

Our tester, Sally Burns, says: I used this spray on horses in the field and at shows. It was easy to spray on coat dries well and does not smell really strong like some I have used. On the horses out in the field I found it definitely kept the flies off for about 6 hours. When at shows I applied it before going into the ring and was pleased to note that it did not leave any residue on the coat or affect their shine. It also lasted when the horses were sweating so I did not have to keep reapplying. A good product to have in the tack room and in the lorry.
