LUXURY EVENT VENUE IS A DECADE IN THE MAKING
Historic Rushton Hall will open its grand new Orangery to the public for the first time this summer – more than a decade after it began planning the iconic building. The luxury venue’s new Orangery
can accommodate up to 500 people, making it the perfect venue for weddings, conferences and events. It took the owners of the Grade I
listed hotel 11 years of planning and working with Historic England to get permission for the new building which complements the look and feel of the rest of the stately home. Sales and marketing manager Tom Gilbert said: “We are incredibly excited about the Orangery and are confident it will be the grandest function room in the Midlands. “It is a fantastic venue for the
business community, including large businesses, as we can accommodate meetings for up to 500 people or a sit down meal for

bedrooms in a courtyard alongside the Orangery, including family rooms and accessible rooms for people with disabilities. The development also features a
new kitchen with the latest energy saving equipment. Tom said: “We’ve already taken bookings for weddings, meetings and conferences and are thrilled to be hosting our first wedding in the Orangery at the end of July.”
