‘OUR WAGONS MANUFACTURE THE CONCRETE AND CAN SWITCH FROM ONE TYPE TO ANOTHER’

“Our founder is in the construction business and was frustrated by long waiting times.

A CONCRETE PLAN FOR SUCCESS

“He saw there was a need for a ready mix concrete business focussed on customer service. “You need different concretes

for different jobs. The trouble with traditional rotary barrel transporters is if you need two types of concrete you must buy two barrel loads and that often results in waste which adversely impacts the

environment and the customer is charged for concrete not required. “Our wagons manufacture the

concrete and can switch from one type to “As a result the customer only receives what

they need and only pays for what they use.” The firm has invested almost £1m in the

business and has recruited a strong team which includes drivers, back office staff and a technician with more than 60 years’ combined experience in the industry. Richard added: “We’ve just launched our new

website and we’ve invested in a new IT system that texts clients when deliveries are on the way. We’ll continue to improve the experience we provide our customers and ensure they’re at the centre of everything we do.”

NETWORKING GIVES MEMBERS A REAL BOOST

Chamber networking is ‘an excellent catalyst’ for member-to-member business, according to Chamber member Get Boosted. Get Boosted owner Christian Jeyes has revealed how his business has

been benefiting from the range of networking events put on by Northamptonshire Chamber. Christian said: “Get Boosted has welcomed several new customers in recent

months, thanks in part to the Chamber’s schedule of networking events across the county. The events have been an excellent catalyst for promoting my business and have helped generate new leads, contacts and clients. “This has led to new work with fellow Chamber members, IREEMS Ltd and

Smith Hillman, both of whom needed help improving their online presence as they look to generate more business and brand awareness online. “And even where you’re not doing business directly with each other, it’s

possible to find other opportunities through collaboration and recommendations, such as the work I’m doing with Champion Information Services to deliver a robust and scalable website and ERP system for a local graphics and signage company. “So it’s evident that even just within the Chamber business community,

there’s a whole load of opportunities available, and attending and engaging in these networking events is a great way to hear of them first and put your business in the spotlight if it’s something you can help with.” To find upcoming networking events and to book yourself on, head over
