Brendan Bowie’s winning ride in Novice Bucking Horse For the second straight week the cowboys and cowgirls of

the RAM Rodeo Tour played in the water. Despite the weather Sat- urday in Minden, was a standing room only crowd that cheered the competitors on. The competition was tremendous as the Alberta Premium

Rye Ladies Barrel Race saw Linda Carter put on a smoking 16.4 second run. Youth Junior Barrels was equally exciting as Gracie Lodwick clocked a 16.56 run for the victory. Bull Riding by RAM wanted to congratulate Dusty McMullen rid- ing Meat Hook to score a 78 and take home over $2,000. Brendan Bowie won for a second weekend in a row riding in the Novice Buck- ing Horse program by Dickies Work Wear. Tonya Becker put in a 21.2 second run to win the System Fencing Pole Bending while the ropers were at the other end putting on a show. Case IH sponsored the timed-events with Tim Kemp winning in Steer Wrestling and ironi- cally, there was a tie in Tie-Down Roping be- tween Rob Brown and Harry Hodges. Congratulations to Arturo Gallegos Sr. and Je- remy McCulligh as they caught their steer in team roping with a time of 7.9 seconds.
