National Care Home Open Day – Friday 16th June
Care Home Open Day is a UK-wide initiative where thousands of care homes across the UK open their doors to their local communities.
The day is all about showing people what excellent care homes are really about and creating lasting links within the community.
2017 is the fifth year of the National Care Home Open Day. As part of this, Waypoints Upton is inviting the local community to its Dementia Information Morning on Friday 16th June, from 10am-12noon (booking essential).
Waypoints’ in-house experts will talk about living well with dementia, providing useful tips, advice and information. You can also put your questions to the experts in the Q&A session at the end. Everyone is welcome, including carers with their loved ones living with dementia, or anyone interested in finding out more about dementia in general. Guests will also be offered a cup of tea, a slice of delicious homemade cake and a guided tour around the beautiful home.
