ST MARY’S CHURCH CREAM TEA Sunday 4th June, 2.30-5pm St Mary’s Church, Lytchett Matravers, BH16 6BS. “Sipping tea in tranquil surroundings, and eating delicious goodies sounds a perfect Sunday afternoon treat! So come and join us for our fi rst cream tea this summer. We will also have a plant stall. All monies go towards the repair and upkeep of our lovely historic church, for you and future generations.”
STURMINSTER MARSHALL OPEN GARDENS Sunday 4th June, 11am-5pm A rare opportunity to explore 14 inspiring gardens. Lunches, cream teas, refreshments and ice-creams. Children’s activities include the Teddy Bear Drop from St Mary’s Church tower (children should bring their own teddy and parachute).
Tickets £5 per person (children under 12 free) from the Memorial Hall (Sat Nav: BH21 4BQ). Proceeds to St Mary’s Church and Memorial Hall. Free parking. Dogs welcome in the village, but not in the gardens.
WAGGY TAILS ANNUAL FUN DOG SHOW Saturday 24th June, 1pm start Held at West Parley Memorial Hall and recreation ground, Christchurch Road, BH22 8SQ. Registration from 12 noon for main classes – £1 per class. Enjoy stalls, games, BBQ, agility and Waggy’s wonderful refreshments. Free parking.
PILFORD HEATH TRANSPORT & HERITAGE SHOW 15th and 16 July, 10am til late Arena events for all the family to enjoy, featuring: live steam engines, cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles (vintage and modern). Craft marquee. Day and evening entertainment in the beer tent. Bouncy castle, slide and face painting. Plenty for all to enjoy. Entry £6 adults, children 0-15 free.
