STEP TWO: DEMAND From country estate hotels to theatres, sports-event hospitality to executive board meetings, if you want it – demand it. Whether the detail of your event is a sticky- note-scribble or a ten-page schedule, get in touch with an events manager. As specialists in the field, events managers have the skills to deliver a customised and streamlined service that takes in to consideration exactly what venue you are looking for and, more importantly, will stick to your budget.
STEP THREE: REFINE Your events manager will negotiate special rates, extra equipment and add-ons to make your event amazing. A snapshot proposal with comparisons will be provided, including all the relevant details and images of the various events spaces on your shortlist. This makes it really easy to select exactly what you want. If you’re not happy, simply go back to step two.
STEP FOUR: SELECT Once you’ve selected a venue from your shortlist, your event manager will arrange a site visit. Here you’ll be able to take the grand tour, talk through the finer details, potentially sample some of the facilities on offer or simply relax and soak up the surroundings. Your event manager will negotiate your final contract directly with the venue or supplier. All that is left for you to do at this stage is sign your authorisation to finalise the booking.
STEP 5: CELEBRATE Having found the ideal venue for your company’s celebration now is the time to relax and enjoy your event. Your work here is done.
