New Marketing Manager brings a fresh perspective


After four successful years of growth, Derby-based Koobr has appointed a new Marketing Manager. Rebecca Shaw joins the creative


agency, which specialises in branding, graphic design and web design, as part of its growing digital marketing team. Koobr’s Managing Director, Craig

Mark Lowson has been promoted to the position of Commercial Director in the highways division of Nottinghamshire-based North Midland Construction plc (NM Group). Mark, who is a chartered


quantity surveyor, was previously the division’s Commercial Manager, a position he held for ten years. In his new role he will be


responsible for all things commercial in relation to procurement, contracts and business strategy for the Highways division. Geoff Poyzer, the division’s Managing Director, said: “Mark will play a key role in the further development of the business.”

Award-winning IT and communications provider Air-IT has strengthened its team with the addition of two new recruits. The firm, a Chamber patron, has


welcomed Zee Sheldon as Marketing Executive and Simon Cooke as Account Manager. Both add support to its growing client services and marketing teams. With extensive experience in the


telecoms industry and having worked in a similar role previously, Simon will strengthen Air-IT’s communications arm, helping to


enhance offerings for new and existing clients. Having run her own business


previously, Zee also hopes to use her own experiences to assist in her new role, which involves supporting the company’s day-to-day marketing initiatives. Air-IT’s Managing Director,

Designer and production operative join Pellacraft


Mansfield-based promotional merchandise and business gifts company Pellacraft has recruited graphic designer Steven Ward and production operative Levente Kosztandi to its team. Steven, from Hucknall, was


previously a graphic designer at Sports Direct where he worked on high-end brand campaigns and in-store area branding. Originally from Hungary,


Levente now lives in Mansfield. He will work in the Pellacraft warehouse ensuring customer orders are prepared and dispatched to meet delivery deadlines. Levente holds Hungarian equivalent qualifications to GCSEs with a specific focus on Philology and Linguistics.


Balls2 Marketing grows with talented apprentices


Derby-based Balls2 Marketing has promoted Callum Alton to Digital Marketing Assistant following success in his Level 3 Social Media and Web Development apprenticeship. The apprenticeship scheme,


run by 3aaa Derby Academy, gave Balls2 Marketing the opportunity to find new people to bring fresh ideas to its range of PR and marketing services. Sarah Ball, Client Strategy


Director at Balls2 Marketing, said: “Marketing is a really fast-paced industry.
