Readers may recall Dr. Stephen R. Sroka, an internationally recognized motivational speaker, award winning teacher, author and consultant, who was originally scheduled to speak at the 2015 STN EXPO on “Te Power of One.” About a month before his appearance, he broke his hip. Ten, about 16 months ago, he suffered a near-fatal heart attack while on stage at an event near his home- town of Cleveland. He was speaking before 800 school employees in Medina, Ohio about the growing heroin epidemic when he collapsed.
