Our latest survey examined the added value of communication with school bus drivers via tablets, which could be a vital tool to the traditional two-way radio. We also sought updated feedback on the use of apps in school bus operations to track the real-time loca- tion of buses on route and where and when students boarded and egressed. Tis information is especially useful for school admin-


istrators and parents. Te survey administered in April and May to 8,210 readers with the titles of director, supervisor or manager. About 380 clicked through to the survey from which we received 213 submissions for a response rate of 2.8 percent. Here is what those professionals had to share. ●
