8 . Glasgow Business October 2014
Glasgow Chamber of Commerce named the best in Scotland with award
Your Chamber is thrilled to announce that we have been named Chamber of the Year 2014 at the Scottish Chamber of Commerce Business Honours Awards. At a ceremony on Thursday 11 September
at the Prestonfield House in Edinburgh, the awards took winning businesses from local Chambers of Commerce from all over Scotland
and showcased the best of Scottish businesses at the nationwide event. The evening was hosted by Kaye Adams and included Jim McColl OBE, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Clyde Blowers Capital as keynote speaker, concluding with Fred MacAulay for the celebrations. Winning this award has reinforced our
position as a Chamber which is continually moving from strength to strength, and we will maintain the momentum generated after one of the city’s busiest ever summers. We continue to support the business
community, and currently nurture over 1,200 members including an extensive list of Partners and Platinum Partners.
