ADVERTORIAL Pulsion technology
Event puts city on path to be nurturing
Pulsion Technology was invited to present at “Towards a Nurturing City”, a conference held by Glasgow City Council recently. Glasgow City Council has been
developing the nurturing initiative for a number of years, investing millions of pounds in supporting the wellbeing of children and young people in the city. The conference focused on the
innovative and creative approach the council has taken to ensure that Glasgow can become a place where young people and children are
listened to and feel valued. Pulsion showcased a nurturing questionnaire and evaluation toolkit as part of the conference, including a year-on-year comparison report for Bannerman High School which demonstrated significant improvements over the year. Pulsion continues to work closely with Glasgow City Council on the Nurturing Initiative and work is already under way to expand the work to include other stakeholder groups within schools and other education initiatives.

Technology
Event info? There’s a Saville app for that
Saville Audio Visual showcased its new bespoke native event app solution at The 2014 Global Leadership Summit, in London Business School recently. The focus was on the challenges and opportunities offered by a modern era of technological innovation and change. Creating a digital BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) concept around the engagement at the conference was the perfect complement to the theme. Jim Young, Head of Digital
Events at Saville, explained: “The mobile event app was a branded and scalable mobile solution that provided everything needed to drive participation and build lasting relationships at the event while reducing reliance on traditional printed materials. “Compatible with iOS and
Android, the app put all the important event information right into the hands of the delegates. Easily downloadable straight from the main App Stores onto their personal devices, the delegates were able to choose from core functions including voting, asking
colleagues and friends which courses they have atended and would recommend. Another is to look for some official recognition of the course. Tat is partly why at QMI Scotland Limited, we have taken our courses through the IRCA (International Register of
Certificated Auditors) registration process. Tis ensures that
Management System Auditors can obtain a globally recognised qualification when they successfully complete one of our auditing courses. All of the instructors are qualified and practising auditors and all the courses have been assessed by an approved technical assessor. To be sure of the value of
your training, consider QMI Scotland Limited.
