Niederau & Oberau – Austria nnn
The Alpenland ia a small and friendly hotel with a welcoming atmosphere and the best location in the resort. Situated right at the foot of the nursery slopes, the ski boot room opens directly on to the piste and the ski school meets right outside the hotel. A button lift takes you from directly behind the hotel to the top of the nursery slopes for easy access to the rest of the ski area. Rooms are spacious and ideal for families or groups of friends. Simply furnished they all have good sized balconies with mountain views. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness of the rooms, the generous food portions, and the friendliness of the staff. Not forgetting of course, the Alpenland’s café and sun terrace, which overlooks the slopes, and has a great atmosphere, and is a popular spot both for lunch and après-ski. The resort centre is less than 5 minutes’ walk away.
