PUBLISHER Bee Boppin’ Around… publisher@outandaboutmagazine.com appy New Year Readers! We at

Out & About are excited about some new projects in the works

and can’t wait to share them with you. We’ve decided to hold the Health & Wellness Fair every other year to optimize our effectiveness for getting useful infor- mation out to our readers to live healthier, happier lives. We are thrilled and honored to be working with Rebekah Children’s Services on our First Annual Kid Fest which is all about kids and for kids. See page 39 for information. As for my Bee Boppin’ Around this month, I will be attend- ing the Abby Road show at 9 Lives Club

with the Out & About crew on January 14. I will also be heading to Predator’s Archery more often to work on my archery skills or lack thereof after just one lesson! I love Mike and Curtis at Predators. They have so much to offer in getting started. With the purchase of a bow you receive five free lessons and they have an awesome lay-away program to make purchasing more doable. Because our office is in downtown

Gilroy, I feel a connection to the down- town businesses and hope some of our empty buildings and offices can be filled with viable businesses. This year, we at

Out & About Magazine plan to do more for our community. We will be holding infor- mational events and researching ways to bring the communities surrounding Gilroy together. With your help, residents and business owners, we can build a safe com- munity and downtown we can be proud of and enjoy with our friends and families. So what’s our New Year’s resolution? Make a Difference!
