FLEURS GARDEN CLUB ISSUES CALL FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS


Elementary schools are invited to


apply for “seed money” from EduGrow-Planting to Learn Program. On October 27, 2011, South


Valley Fleurs Garden Club announced their call for grant appli- cations to the EduGrow-Planting to Learn program. The Garden Club supports education in horticulture by offering grants to elementary school teachers who wish to include gardening in their curriculum. Schools in Morgan Hill, San Martin, Gilroy, Hollister and San Juan Bautista are invited to submit grant applications. In 2010 EduGrow “seed money” was


granted to Paradise Valley School, Charter School of Morgan Hill and the Rod Kelley Elementary School in Gilroy. Funds were used to purchase
